How many driving lessons will I need before I am ready for my VicRoads test?

Every learner is different, so there is no set number. However, on average, students typically need anywhere from 10 to 20 professional lessons to build the competence and confidence required to pass the VicRoads practical test and get their Red P plates. During your first lesson, our instructors will assess your current skill level and give you a realistic estimate

Can you help me fill out my VicRoads logbook for the 120 hours?

Absolutely. Since 2011, we have helped thousands of South East Melbourne learners complete their 120 required hours (including the 20 night hours). Our instructors are accredited to supervise you, and we can sign off on your logbook hours as you progress through our lessons.

What type of car will I be learning in?

At Aziz Safe Driving School, we use modern, dual-controlled, automatic vehicles. Dual controls mean your instructor can take over the brakes or accelerator if absolutely necessary, providing a completely safe learning environment so you can relax and focus on your driving.

Do I need my own car to learn with Aziz Safe Driving School?

No, you do not need your own car. You will learn in our safe, fully insured training vehicle. Furthermore, you can use our car on the day of your VicRoads practical test, which is highly recommended as you will be completely comfortable with the vehicle's controls.

What happens if I fail my Red P plate test?

Don’t worry—it happens to many great drivers! If you don’t pass on your first attempt, your instructor will debrief with you immediately, explain exactly where the marks were deducted, and tailor your subsequent lessons to fix those specific areas before you attempt the test again
